Learning from History to Strengthen the Ideological Foundation for Change
The conference commenced with a historical study session. Dr. Yang Libin, Chairman of the Board, delivered a special presentation titled "The Shang Yang Reform of the Qin Dynasty and Gendone's Breaking of the Old to Usher in the New," profoundly stating: "As times change, so should the ways of governance." Shang Yang established the rule of law through the "moving a timber to establish trust," and focused on "agriculture and warfare" through land reclamation policies, mutual surveillance systems, and military merit rewards, enabling the Qin state to transform from weak to strong and ultimately unify the realm. For an enterprise, "agriculture" represents logistics and management, while "warfare" represents marketing and the market — the depth of the rear supports the sharpness of the front, and the demands of the front drive the upgrading of the rear. Only through synchronized change can development bottlenecks be truly broken. The following day, all employees visited the Qin-Han Hall of the Shaanxi History Museum for an on-site study tour, drawing insights from history and engaging in group discussions to translate lessons learned into practical thinking for driving change.
Confronting Problems Head-On — Stand Still and You Will Fall Behind
At the formal conference session, Dr. Yang Libin delivered the Semi-Annual Review and Planning Keynote Report. The report noted that in the first half of the year, the company adhered to the annual strategy of "Advancing Change, Solidifying Both Soft and Hard Capabilities, and Achieving Decisive Victory," with steady progress made in operational transformation and organizational development, and continuously growing market competitiveness for new products and technical solutions. At the same time, the report confronted underlying issues head-on, identifying prominent shortcomings such as inadequate implementation of marketing models, insufficient motivation in some teams, and weak foundational management, while specifying rectification pathways and accountability mechanisms for each item.
Positioning at the mid-year juncture, the report reinforced the overarching strategy of "Breaking the Old to Usher in the New." The direction of change was clear and unequivocal: focus on performance, govern by rules.
At the strategic level, the corporate culture is being reshaped with "Integrity, Excellence, Truth-Seeking, and Warmth" as its cultural foundation. The business strategy has identified "fundamentally solving the problem of over-reliance on a single major client" as the breakthrough point, while the management strategy is anchored to the guiding principle of "Breaking the Old to Usher in the New, Survival of the Fittest, Striving for Greatness." Together, the three form a complete closed-loop from value orientation to business direction to management approach.
At the institutional level, the company adheres to the principles of "laws to abide by and laws to be enforced," upholding clear rules and regulations, accountability, and proactive initiative.
At the execution level, a six-in-one mechanism — comprising inspection, supervision, assessment, rewards and punishments, early warning, and auditing — is employed to drive the comprehensive implementation of culture, strategy, operations, and management. A key pathway is to widen income disparity and forge a formidable team, ensuring that high performers are rewarded while underperformers feel the pressure.
Subsequently, each frontline business division presented its work plans for the second half of the year, covering operational targets, marketing programs, team building, and value demonstration. The Animal Nutrition Center, Marketing Department, Human Resources and Administration Department, and Industrial Base each delivered special reports in their respective functional areas, closely aligning with the company's strategy to clarify execution pathways and delineate priorities and responsibilities for the second half.
Role Models Lighting the Way, Forging an Elite Team
The conference honored outstanding performers of the first half of the year with commendations. These individuals, dedicated to their posts and striving for excellence, set benchmarks through their tangible achievements.
The conference also featured team competition activities — spirited renditions of the company anthem, distinctive team presentations, and intense knowledge quiz battles. Each team participated with enthusiasm and full commitment, demonstrating a proactive, pioneering team spirit through friendly competition.
An evening networking dinner brought the teams together in a warm and joyful atmosphere, fostering camaraderie and team spirit.
This conference was not only a strategic reset for unifying will, confronting shortcomings, and establishing rules, but also a systematic mobilization for building cohesion and embarking anew. All Gendone members shall take "Breaking the Old to Usher in the New, Survival of the Fittest, Striving for Greatness" as the shared guiding principle, translating consensus into action, stimulating vitality through change, honing strength through technology, and validating outcomes through solid performance.

From April 18 to 20, 2025, the 2025 China Feed Industry Exhibition will be grandly held in Qingdao, Shandong. As a leader in the development and application of functional amino acids, Gendonewill make a grand appearance with a focus on systematic innovation and precise presentation, bringing scientific cost-reduction and efficiency-enhancement solutions as well as cutting-edge research results, injecting new momentum into the high-quality development of the global feed industry.

The solemn national flag and the flag of the company were raised in succession, and the stirring national anthem and battle songs were sung one after another. The formal resumption of work and production at the gendone Co-Creation Industrial Base was officially announced. At 8 a.m. on September 1, all employees of the industrial base lined up in an orderly manner to jointly witness the launch ceremony of the resumption of work and production.
